Admittedly, this was our first time taking a river cruise so we didn’t know what to expect. We of course saw all the commercials on PBS, but that is only a glimpse into that world. The best thing we can say is to research as much as possible. The first thing is to visit the Viking website. It’s worth going through all they have to offer, especially now that they are expanding in to ocean cruises. The cruises can be pricey, so don’t let that scare you.
